My new fiberglass enclosure for RegCab
Only question is can you flip the console up and down freeley? I can't when the seat is all the way back... but then mine is an MDF box.. I could have adjusted it for the console I supose. Looks real good though, hope is sounds good in there too!
Also, Your measurement looks to be taken from the bottom.. the deepest part. What do you get measuring from the shallowest point?
7.5" seems pretty difficult to achieve, top to bottom.
It took me forever to work out dimensions that would allow me to mount a 6.4" deep sub and still be able to move the seats back.
Here's how mine turned out..

Hi, as for dealing with the customs at the border, I didn't really get anywhere with it. I called the supervisor at the customs office and complained like hell for the damage they did. He just responded by with a bunch of b.s. excuses of why they have the right to do what they did and so on. So I pretty much just vented out on them and that ended it. If I go through this again with my new system, I'm getting a lawyer, lol. I'm sick of dealing with this crap.
As for the measurements of the depth of the box, the very top of the mdf ring measured just a little over 5 inches, center was 7.5 inches, and very bottom of the ring was at 8 inches. The angle the subs will be sitting at places the vent pole right in the deepest part of the box. The depth of my subs are at 5.75 inches. And there is space between the back wall and the very bottom of the sub.

Almost forgot, right now I can flip my console up and down freely with the box in place but that may change when I install my amp. Doesn't really bother me anyways if it wont flip with the amp installed because I never use the center seat. Even if i wanted too, its easy enough to slide the passenger seat forward and then flip the console.
Alright cool. I might have to look into this for a summer project then once I get done Tree Planting up north..
I've got a second Premier sub sitting in my room (identical to the one in there now) but with MDF boxes I just can't make it fit.
Thanks for answering my questions though!

no prob, if you have any more questions let me know! It's been a learning experience for me right from the beginning. I only wish that I had thought to take pictures right from the beginning to show the process. I pretty much just followed this guys instructions below. He does a real good job of guiding you through the process.
Hi, it's been awhile since I last posted on here. Just wanted to update my progress. I got the box painted today after buying some paint to match the factory color of my truck (cardinal red). It looks really nice and shinny. I spent the last few weeks sanding and glazing my box to get rid of all the pinholes and other small cracks. I got it as smooth as glass which took forever. My amp is on order and my subs are in the closet waiting to be mounted. Hopefully I can get this project done for once. I was hoping to have this thing done by now but I got a new toy earlier this spring that took my attention away from my subbox and truck.

Well, its finally done and I couldn't be happier with the way it turned out. It fits beautifully and I can recline the seats all the way back with no interference. Sounds amazing and is actually too loud. I love having the remote bass **** feature. Some songs need more bass than others and all I have to do is play with the **** until I get the right amount of bass. I still have a little cosmetic work to do on it but other than that its finished. It looks awesome in the sunlight with a chrome amp and red enclosure, very shiny. I just need to figure out what to do with the bundle of wires coming down from the amp.
