Cool What kind of sub?

Hello everyone,
I want to add a better sub in my 2003 expedition E.B. edition. But as you probably know there is absolutley no cargo space in the car unless you fold the seats down which is what I don't want to do. So is there a way to upgrade the sub to maybe at least a 10", or 12" preferabbly, without putting enclosures anywhere where it will get in the way? I know that JL makes the stealth box where the box is the front center console.

P.S. I notice that the '03 expedition is an oddball car. It's hard to find a lot of custom accesories for. They make a lot of accesories for expeditions for '97-'02 and then '04-'06. Why?

I had an 04 EXPY in which I used a 12" MTX 8512-44 sub mounted in a Q-Logic sealed box. The neat thing about this set was that it fit behind the smaller of the two fold down seats in the third row and allowed the hatchback to close no problem. I even mounted a parts express grill over the front just in case the sub moved against the hatchback. At least the area behind the larger of the two fold down seats wasn't affected. It moved very little as it is pretty heavy. I don't need it any more and it is stored in pristine condition. This sub has DVC's and is wired for a 2 OHM load and was driven by an MTX Thunder 3401 amp (400 Watt) that spec'd out at almost 500 watts.
I had the gain no where near their limits and was more than satisfied. I only wish that I could use it in my SuperCrew.

Hope this helps

I don't remember either it was E-Bay or one of the Internet stores such as Sonicelectronix, Crutchfield, etc...........

If you have trouble finding one, let me know.

Maybe we can work something out.

Good Luck
