How Hard to replace speaker wiring.

I think that my passenger door speaker wire is chafed somewhere because the speaker has alot of static in it. I just replaced the oems with mtx and i still have the same static. So how hard is it to replace all the wiring from the doors to the head unit? Any tips?
Its a 97 xcab.

It's a royal pain in the butt. Though I had to do all speakers, front and back. It isn't too bad if you're not particular about where the wires should go and how they should be hidden...

Before you go and change the wiring are you sure that it is not your HU causing the static?

If you do go ahead with tthe wiring change getting thin wiring through the plactic grommet in the door is a pain but can be accomplished I've done it on my truck to run wires from my crossover in the door to the tweeter that is on my dash.
