$900 to spend on system

My dad has given me 900 dollars to spend on my whole system (speakers, subs, headunit, subbox).......i would like you guys to put together a list of things that i should get.

I have a 2002 F150 Supercab.
I know that i want at least one sub. I want it to be loud and don't necessarily care if its hard hitting or not. I listen to everytype of music also.

I also want the headunit to be able to play MP3's and all that mumbo jumbo

Please help me out with this all because i really want this done..

Thank you so much in advance

-Colin

Pioneer HU(many under 200 dollars that play mp3's) probably find one around 150

Infinity Kappa Perfect 10 if you can fit it (110) many other great subs

Amp(one of your choice which you need about 300-400 rms with one sub for about 200 bucks maybe a little less)

Front components (polk, alpine, kappa perfects) many component choices 200 bucks

Wiring (100 bucks)

sub box (25-50)

if you want rear fill then a set of coaxial speakers for about 50-100.

Like i said there are many brands that will sound great but you should be able to get a decent system for under a grand. I found the best prices for the HU's and Components at millionbuy.com but crutchfield is also great. Whatever you do buy offline and install yourself if you can. If not then get a good installer and dont buy any junk that they say is popular on the west coast(planet audio or some other mumbo jumbo) Let us know what you plan on getting.

Then for a sub and box, find the box first, and the mounting depth, and ill reccomend some subs.

Which part of texas are you in? If you are anywhere close to the grapevine area then you need to go check out dfw stereo. The owner will make you damn good deals on everything, he will knock off prices on anything in his store. For example, my friend recently baught 2 mb quart 10's, a box and an amp for around 500 bucks.. not too shabby. he carries a wide variety of brands also

its close to grapevine mills mall, if youre coming from flowermound you would keep on going straight past the mall on northwest highway. You will also pass the ******* texan. You continue going and you will come to a light and you go through it ( on your left you should see a just brakes). Its on the left just past the just brakes. It looks crappy on the outside but he has some good stuff on the inside. And also i would try to go there at a time when no one else is there, because you will get better deals.

www.ascendantaudio.com has two new lines of subs, get 2 10s either 2 arsenals or 2 assasins. Get an 1100d for the arsenals, and they should pound with the new technology chad put into these drivers with larger vc's and lighter frame, and more. Then still get the pioneer 7700/alpine 9851, re components, and a some kind of 2 channel amp that does 50 to 100 watts a channel at 4 ohm, like Arc Audio, cadence, dei/viper, what ever fits your budget.
