Need Speaker Help

I have a 2004 F-150 scab. Can anyone give me some speaker help? What size speakers fit in the front and back doors WITHOUT doing any cutting/modifications? How does one remove the door panels? Advice on subwoofer size and placement? Does the factory head unit have a subwoofer connection? Thanks for any help.

Speaker size is 5x7/6x8. The norm for subs is either 1 or 2 10" under the rear seat. I would recommend an amp to power your sub.

I don't know about the rear doors since I have regular cab but for the front you just need to pop off the section where the speakers are. No need to take off the entire door panel anymore. That will give you access to the tweeter hole as well.

I have the instruction sheet from Crutchfield for the rear door panel removal on a super crew new body style XL. The process may be similar on your truck. I will e-mail them to you if you want.

The factory HU does not have the plug fro a sub unless it is an Audiophile unit. The trucks with the Audiophile system come with a factory sub box underneath the rear seat. If you don't have the sub, your HU will not have the plug.

Let me know if I can help.
