Attn bartak or others

I set up my system about 3 months ago and bartak helped me out alot. ANyway, i really like my setup but i feel like my infinity ref. components(5 1/4) are too much for me (the highs that is). I want cleaner sound but cant spend 500 dollars on the BA. But i found these 2 ways and if they are BA's i feel that they should be cleaner. Also, should i run these on my small alpine amp that are pushing the components now or should i run from Pionner HU(50X4). Thanks for advice. And other recommendations are welcomed. I figure i could throw my stocks back in for now and sell the Inf Ref. components and throw some extra $$ in. Im also gonna get two BA 10 inch subs but only one at a time. Thanks again

here are the BA two ways i was talking about http://www.millionbuy.com/bacs55.html

or how about these http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_5812.html

I currently have BA components and the highs are very clear but they have issues with the highs being too bright. To solve this I simply used my EQ to lower the DB at the higher level. I dont think that going to BA will solve your issue of the highs being to bright. I also had 2 BA 10' subs for a week. I blew both of them (actually my GF did) within the first week. Not sure if she had anything to do with it or they were just bad subs. They are excellent subs, but do do put too much power to them or play songs with heavy bass. I had a healthy amount of power going to them, not over the recomended specs, but they just couldnt handle it. That was just my experience with BA subs, I still firmly believe they are a great product, but just make sure your dealer is willing to send them back to BA if something should go wrong.

Have you tried moving the location of your tweeters around? You could always get a 4-channel amp and use an active crossover to set up the highs and lows seperately and ditch the passive crossover.

Im hoping that the BA's will be clearer than the Ref. Would you think that the two ways would be sufficient for the mids and highs? What BA 10's did you have. Im looking at the G210-44 subs. Im hoping that they will have great SQ. I will be using the same amp that i push my 2 8's to push the 2 BA's. It's a Diamond Audio not sure on the specs but not too much for the 8's. Thanks for the input>

GA Foo i have a 4 channel amp and guess i could mess w/ the crossover a bit. I have just heard good things w/ BA and wanted to switch all my speakers and subs to match. Thanks

I've got it narrowed down to these: either the Polk Momo 5 1/4 component system or JL audio 5.25 component system, or BA component system.

THen for subs it's either the BA G2 10 inch subs or Polk Momo 10 inch subs?

Quick question though: I have the adapter to make the stock 6x8 fit the 5 1/4 that i have now. Is their an adapter for the 6x8 to 6.5 speaker? Thanks

And i'll have the ID subs and infinity reference components for sale very soon.

I had the BA Pro10. My guess is the my GF was a little hard on them or they were just bad subs. At the time they were on back order from BA so maybe I just got bad subs.
