Question A Few "Speaker" Questions

Hey I'm looking to get a set of front speakers for my 03 F-150.. here are my questions

1. What size will fit? 5x7?
2. Brand.... looking at Infinity or Kicker... what would be better
3. Steps To Taking Off The Door Pannels
4. A good size amp to run these off of

Thanks for any help and suggestions.

Well... my best suggestion would be to broaden your choices and extend it to others such as Polk. I've tried MANY speakers in the systems I've installed and owned and Polk has always been my favorite speaker without spending close to a grand on a set of speakers.

Everything from their entry level stuff to the MOMOS absolutely rock. Give them a shot and about 75 watts a piece and you will be happy. 5x7 is the size to get.

As for the amp...what are you looking to spend? I LOVE the controls and quality of the JL 300/4...it is an amazing amp that really lets you fine tune your speakers and gives plenty of power regardless of the voltage levels.

As for the doors, take the screws out and pull up
