System Update
Hey all. Just a quick update:
I am running my Kenwood DDX7015 now into an Arc Audio 5150XXK. It is a 5 channel amp. I have it bridged to run 150 x 2 into the front components, (Rainbow Contour 5 1/4), and the sub gets 190 watts at 2 ohm. I have to send my Adire Koda in for repair. I got it brand new only to have the USPS to break the frame in shipping. So, I went back to the Elemental Designs 11Kv.2.
I also took the musicmoose.net box out. Right now, I have a sealed wedge box that I had laying around, sitting in the back floor board up against the drivers seat firing toward the rear. It sounds alot better than the musicmoose.net. The reason I took the moose box out was the sub was sitting right on the carpet. I emailed them and they said try a grill so, I did. But, when the bass would hit pretty hard, it flexed the grill. That tells me the sub was not getting its full motion. So, I think I am going to try a Q logic box. One member on here has one and says he has at least an inch of clearance under the box.
I am selling the musicmoose box if anyone wants it. Had it about a month.

I installed some spikes on the bottom of my new boxes to gain some clearance. They sell them on partsexpress.com or madisound.com, or any number of supply houses. I got a dozen for just a few dollars. They are normally used to "couple" home speakers to the floor to enhance low frequency extension. Try this;
