how to flush mount pro60 tweeters
how to flush mount pro60 tweeters
anyone who has the boston acoustics pro60's i wana flush mount my tweeters but am very confused on how the spring clip things dont seem to fit anywhere. anyhelp would be nice.
My tweeters came with a little "cup" in which the tweeter can rotate. I drilled a hole in the door panel for the cup, installed a "W" shape spring on the back to hold in inthe door. Then siliconed it as well, cuz those can get sloppy after a while.
Here's a pic, see if you can find waldo... i mean the tweeter.

ill try to get a picture up later...mine a small whole for a screw as well. well whats the point of it and my W like sprink clip is two pieces dont know how that works...? ive been staring at it all day thinking how
here is the manual for them...maybe u can see something i cant...flush mount is on the second page and #22 is two pieces http://www.bostonacoustics.com/manuals/Pro60_man.pdf
This wont' be too bad...
Drill a hole for piece #7 - careful not too big!!
Insert #7 into hole, add spring(25+22) to back of door panel, tighten screw.
Now you just insert the tweeter give it a twist to lock it in and then the grill.
Connect wires, enjoy!
I dont' know what to tell you about #22 if it comes in two pieces... sorry
