I know its prolly come up before but im thinking of doing a little work on my truck in the sound department.

Im not looking for much just some good door speakers and maybe an 8 but i dont want to replace my stcok HU.
Any suggestions on some decent speakers that arent too expensive and an idea on how to set all that up.

You could get a nice set of 5x7 or 6x8 coaxials and drop them in the front doors. And get an 8" sub and make or buy a box that would slip under the drivers side rear seat. Buy a 4 channel amp that would slip under the middle section of the rear seat and run the front speakers off the front channels and bridge the rear for the sub. Or better would be a nice set of components for the front. Alot depends on your budget but, it can all be done with the factory head unit and still sound awesome.
