'04 reg cab setup ideas?!

Ok, well i have 2 alpine type S 10" subwoofers laying around from a system that was in my previous car. Just curious to what you guys think. Would these subs be sufficient for my truck? I'm thinking about putting a system in my truck and i would like to use them if i could since it would save me money. So are they good enough for the truck? Sealed, ported, downfiring, etc..... ??

Also, on a side note about the reg cab. Behind the seats there is a step-up so to speak on the floor. Anybody know whats underneath the floor in the back? Maybe i could get some speakers in there or...?

Thanks for the feedback guys.

Well, do YOU think they are good enough? What exactley are you looking for in your setup? Loud, pounding bass-good SQ-something that sounds good bet can still get loud, or what?

The type of box you use is definatley a personal prefference. If your a SQ freak-your probably going to want to use a sealed box-if you just want all out loud-youll probably what a ported box. Downfiring or firing into the back of the seat really makes no difference. Whichever way you wanna make the box.

That step up might be part of the floor. I know in the 97-03's there is a little step up, and its actually part of the floor. When you look under the truck you can tell. Im not sure about the 04+. But I do know in the 04+ regular cabs there is a crap load of room for being a regular cab.
