jack relocation
I have an 05 supercrew and need to relocate my jack because i put my amp and subs under the back seat. Let me know the easiest way and hopefully without drilling, I heard something one time about betwen the frame and the spare?
Check out the thread SuperCrew Storage Space. HotLap moved his jack to that location. He might be able to give us more detailed instructions...

Seriously this was a great tool when I was off-roading, but has no place on the side of a road during a typical tire change. You don't need the height there and that's the only advantage of a highlift. They have no side to side stability at all. IMHO, a strong gust from a passing big rig could push your truck right off the jack. Besides the fact that this thread is about relocating the relatively small (definitely small in comparison to a highlift) stock jack, why would someone add a 4' long jack instead?
Hi-lift has jack mounting kits you can bolt onto the inside rail of your bed, or just about anywhere. It eliminates the need to house the jack inside the cab--thus providing more interior space as desired.
On another point, if we're talking about replacing one of those scissor type jacks--anything is a huge improvement in safety. IMO. Secondly, hi-lift offers a smaller version of their jacks as well. Additionally, anyone who has significantly lifted their truck could understand the benefit of having a higher lifting point available to them.
Just a suggestion, take it at that.

Jack "Relocation"
Thanks for the suggestions but I just want to move my stock jack safely without spening money or drilling holes. I loke HotLaps idea but I wish I could see pics or more details of this type of setup
