Any Suggestions?

Need your help guys. I will be graduating from college in October. For my graduation present, hubby wants to put a new stereo system in my truck. I don’t know too much about stereo systems that’s the hubby’s thing but I want to pick out the system.
All I know is that I want something that sounds good and is loud…..

So far this is what I am looking to get:

Stereo:

and for rear speakers:

I am not for sure what type of speakers I want up front. Also the hubby wants to put a sub in too.

What do you guys suggest? My price limit is around $700.

Thanks…

hey looks good so far- congrats on graduating- got out in may myself...

budget looks good until you start talking about subs, and their equipment. front doorwise, i'd prefer 5.25" components in the front doors, they will have separate tweeters that go in around the side view mirror controls on both front doors... id also suggest putting in a simple 4channel amp if the budget allows...if not a 4 channel, at least a 2 channel to power your front speakers. anyway you put it, truck's gonna rock when you get done with it- will sound so much better than stock! good luck

Yup, looks alright. To stay with the Polk theme, maybe these components for the front

With a nice 75-100watt rms amp on them.

They arent the stock size, but if your husband is familiar with just normal hand tools at least, he can make them fit(if hes doing the install)

I just got that same Head Unit from millionbuy.com for waaaaay cheaper (169). This is a great website if you want to save some $$$$$$$$$$. I priced everything I got at the local Best buy and Circuit city and i saved a grand total of 600 bucks. IF you plan on letting your hubby install order online. Good luck.

The HU install is a joke. All you do is get the adapter and the harness change those out and it slides right in. CC for only 35 isnt bad either though
