Simple Audio Question

I have a 2005 SCrew with a MP3 6-Disc deck, not audiophile. Under my rear seat, drivers side, I have a grey plug for what I think is for some sort of subwoofer or amp. What is it? Is it for the audiophile system, or is it hooked up to my deck? Also, What are my options for items that will plug into this adapter? Thanks in advance.

The plug you found is for the audiophile subwoofer. You will also find, that if you take out your head unit, there is another unused plug for that would be utilized if you had an audiophile head unit.

If you wanted to convert your system over to audiophlie you would have to purchase the amp w/sub and an audiophlie head unit. Then plug up the connectors and then you are good to go. The only thing missing from the true audiophile system is the component door speakers in the front door.

Ok with that in mind, what are my options to hook up a subwoofer to my existing stereo? I don't want to get the audiophile system very badly.

Also, my stereo deck has a "AUX" button. I can't find any information for what that is used for or what auxilary items would work with my deck, hopefully ipod's
