any suggestions?

I've decided to put a 2" seat lift kit in for the rear seat (anybody know where i can find one for a reasonable price?) and to have a box custom made to fit under the rear seat in my 98 ext. cab. This box will fit two 10" subs. The maximum mounting depth will be 6". Does anybody have any suggestions on some good subs to put in there that will sound good? Keep in mind the 6" mounting depth. Thanks guys..

I just installed some Diamond 10" subs that are shallow-mount. They are 4.8" deep. Sound great. Hit low and clean. $129 each. Model number is DS10D4...here's the link.

You can make some for very little other than you time with some wooden blocks of some kind to use as spacers and a trip to the hardware store to buy longer bolts.

Those are very nice seat lifts, but a little too pricey.. And I thought about just using some wood blocks for spacers but I'm thinking that would look a little goofy. Does anybody else have any other ideas?

I think I am going to go that route so I can fit my MP Quart 12 under the seat. That will let me mount my amp under there too

I used 2" x 2" x 2" x 1/4" aluminum channel. Drill holes, paint to match interior. Worked like a charm on my 02.

http://www.supercrewsound.com/shop/detail/11/124.htm

it includes the spacers and has cutouts for 2-8's or 2-10's with a 5-1/2" mounting depth. around .85-.90 cubic feet per sub.
