Dynamat and new speakers
Dynamat and new speakers
I've upgraded my head unit to a Blaupunkt model. It sounds a great deal better than the factory "premium sound" did.
I'm wondering if the same would be true for upgrading the speakers to a Blaupunkt three way like these .
And just today I put Dynamat on the back of the factory speakers which made a substantial improvement. If I purchase 5X7 speakers and mount them with the adapter rings provided do I need to replace the Dynamat. If that is the case, I'd probably stay with another pair of 6X8s.
As you can tell, I'm not interested in an expensive system. I couldn't hear the difference anyway. Just looking for an upgrade.
Your thoughts are appreciated.

You dont need any adapter plates for 5x7's, they drop right in using the stock holes.
Upgrading the stock speakers usually makes a pretty big difference. If you want to stay with the same brand, you can go blapunkt, but there is better out there. However if your just the casual listener(which it sound like you are) they will work fine.

Thanks Bartak1,
And since they drop right in the stock holes, I don't loose my work with the Dynamat. Great!
And the caual listener sounds like a good description of my listening.
