Will Polk EX357 fit my rear doors of my Scab?

'03 F150 SuperCab
Crutchfield sez that they will only fit the front doors but it appears as if the dimensions are close to the same as the Polks that will fit front & rear. Is there something that I'm not seeing here? I don't think that the tweeter extends above the speaker frame so what gives? Has anyone put these in the back doors?

I dont know why crutchfield told you they wont fit. I just put 4 Polk DB570's in my 2000 s-cab and they fit perfectly. The db's are only a tad bit deeper than the ex's so i dont know why crutchfield is saying they wont fit. I ordered mine from crutchfield also and have never had any problems with them before.

Well I bought some for the front and rear. They fit fine in the front but in the rear the "lense" of the tweeter pushes against the door panel. Fortunately with enough pressure that they shouldn't rattle. If they do I will have to mount them from the rear in the rear doors. How do they sound? Well, they do have more highs than the factory speakers but, they don't have as much bass. For the price they are fine. As far as efficiency, they are about the same as the original speakers. Now I may indeed have to add a subwoofer though...

I run four of these in my 1998 Supercab. I know the bass isn't like a "SuB", but they do sound great for $30 a set .
