Anyone hooked up an aftermarket amp and subs to their 6 disc changer? If so what method did you use?

I am going to do just that I was told use 2 line out convertors 1 for front speakers and 1 for the rear this will allow you to hook up an Amp. I bought the Infinity kappas 6X8's all around. I will be using the Rockford FosgateP4004 to power them. Next I want to install the sub box with 2 10's. I can let you know how it turns out. I just dont like the look when you remove the 2 din stereos and put in the 1 or 1 1/2 to me it does not look clean.

I bought and installed pioneer 3 way 6X8 today. SOunds great. YOu said you are running your 6X8's with an amp? I am running my off the stock head unit. WOuld you recommend running them with an amp? I was told to run the line output converter to the amp via the rear speakers. If you have the 6 disk in dash you dont want to take the head unit out b/c it may cause the air bag to deploy. I will be putting my 12 in. subs in this week. Again should i run my 6X8's with the amp? would it be too much power?
