Who Sells Speakers
I just bought my first truck and want to sweeten the sound a bit.
It is an '88 F-150 (only 60k miles) with the stock radio/tape deck.
I want to swap the head unit for something that will play CDs and allow wiring to a Sattelite radio. No amp. Any suggestions?
The speakers are dried out and dead-sounding. Two 4" in the door, and one woofer (I guess) in the kick panel. What to I look for, who sells them, and do I stuff in any sound insulation in the door cavity?

Go to www.crutchfield.com and click on "what fits my car" (mid screen lf. side) and enter you truck info. It will tell you what the stock sizes are and give you some ideas.

I bought the Soundstream 5x7/6x8 from them for the rears and the MA Audio 5x7/6x8 Component set for the front. They sound great, and I got a good price on them.
