what fits in a probox?
Just bought a probox for a 2005 F150 extended cab. I thought it could accomodate a 10" sub, 5.75" deep. However, I have bought an Infinity reference that is 5-1/2", no go. My JBL is 5-1/4" and doesn't fit. I bought a Pioneer 10" last night that is 4-3/4" and it just barely hits the bottom. What subs have you guys used in these things?
I got a pair or daimond audio 10s that fit quite nicely here are the specs.
Type: Dual voice coil
Size: 10 in.
Power Handling NOM/MAX: 500/1000 watts
Sensitivity (2.83V/1m): 84 dB SPL
Freq. Response: 23-250
Mounting Depth/Diameter: 5.6 in. / 9.2 in.
Maybe you should get a different box?

This'll fit..
A Rockford Fosgate HX2 will fit in a Probox. I bought one with the intentions to install it, but bought a Probox setup on here already with a sub and a amp. If you're interested, e-mail me.

Probox also makes their own drivers designed for their boxes. I asked what sort of quality and magnets are in the Probox drivers, and Billy told me that they got the same guys who design for JL and Kicker to design their drivers.
I think I will try the sealed Probox with one of their own drivers in my '01 Screw.

Thanks for the responses guys. I found the Pioneer TS-W250R
was just barely hitting on the basket/frame of the sub, it wasn't hitting the bottom. I took about 1/16" off the edge where it was hitting inside the box and turned the sub 90-degrees and it fits just fine.
