HELP! Decisions: 2-8" Q-Logic or 1-10" Probox?

I have an '01 Supercrew that I would like to have a sub underneath the rear seat (driver's side 60% portion).

I've narrowed it down to either a Probox with a single 10", or a Q-Logic box with 2-8". Problem is that I most likely will not be able to audition them beforehand, so it is mostly a leap of faith.

That's where I need some help! Would the 2-8" be moving more air? Would a single 10" in a wood box sound better? I'll have about 300w rms for this.

Any input is greatly appreciated.

2 8s would be moving more air. the 10 could possibly get a little lower but I think 2 8s is a better option. Is there a reason you would be going with a Q-logic box? Other options are supercrewsound.com and musicmooseaudio.com.

Q-Logic is the only one I find that make a 2x8" sub for the '01 S-Crew that still keeps the 40% seat able to still fold down if needed. I also need the ability to easily slide the sub out for removal if I need to fold down the seats completely.

And that's why I want to shy away from sub speakers mounted in the compartment behind the seat- I sometimes need to carry things that have lots of protrusions that could easily puncture a speaker if the seats were folded down and that exposed any rear-mounted cones.

So I need to stay under the seat. Preferably able to still fold down the 40% portion all the time. Able to slide out the sub if needed without too much hassle.

Musicmooseaudio's box is 1x10" @ .55 cu ft
Q-Logic is 2x8" @ .70 cu ft
Supercrew sound is 1x10" @ .75 cu ft
ProBox is 1x10" @ .60 cu ft

And Probox also makes a ported box for an '01 S-Crew (1x10" @ .90 cu ft) that may still be able to fold down the 40% portion....

Probox claims that they have found an "optimum driver" for the ported version that they actually prefer in sound vs. their sealed box for the SUpercrew.....
