Check my WinISD graph!

Here's my WinISD graphs for my single Kicker CVR10-4 that i JUST bought.

I'm having my box custom made for my '97 Ext. Cab at a car audio shop nearby, and want to have some numbers to have him help me decide whether to go sealed or ported. It's most definately going to be downfired...

The light green line is the vented box, and the white line is the sealed box. The group delay chart has a erratic value for the ported box, and I don't know why??? Anyways, please give me your ideas on the graphs!

very sweet install indeed! it's inspiring actually

soon i will have a system very similar to yours. I'll have 3 amps though. My new Fosgate 301s (in shipment) for my new Kicker 10 (in shipment) is going under the driver's side rear seat. And now that I freed up an amp from my CRAPPY fosgate 10" tube, I will have two Fosgate 2.6x's to power my FanaticX's up front and my fosgate 5x7's in back.

I haven't seen any posts here with someone mounting 3 amps, a lot of two's though. I think I'll have the shop that's making my custom box just mount my two small 2.6x's under the passenger and driver's seat. they're small enough I think, to miss the loom of wire.

Thanks for the comments. I really like my install. I wanted to go with two 10s but I just could not find a way to keep it "kid friendly" which is a big deal for me since I have three kids back there all the time.

Post some pictures of yours when you get done. I'd like to see your install.

Hey Kar85,

Have you installed your Kicker CVR10 yet? I'm curious how it sounds. I'm still trying to decide between a set-up like Dupuis (two 8") or a single 10" box from musicmooseaudio.com with a Kicker 10" CVR10. My amp is a JL Audio 250/1. This would be going in a 2005 F-150 Supercab.

Let me know how it sounds and what you think of the sub.

alright...will do

my grandpa passed away this past tuesday unexpectedly, and he owned an '03 Screw lariat that might end up in my hands.

i was going to get a custom downfiring box made for my 97, but i think i'll wait to see if this truck thing falls through. irregardless, i will post the results of how it sounds.
