i bought some speakers to replace mine (in the door) and just wanted to make sure that the cover on the door just pulls off or if there is something else that needs to be done. i just dont want to break anything. thanks. oh by the way its an 2003

 

You mean the interior door shell? Just remove the door trim pieces, unscrew the screws, then lift up and away from the door. It's really easy but you have to know where the screws are. It's difficult to describe without pictures but they're usually behind the handle and in the top corners.

Maybe someone else can post pics, I'm kinda lazy LOL.

 

You need to remove the top left pillar that goes up your window. Then remove the trim around your door lever just pull. There are only two screws one under the pillar and one under the door handle trim you also need to pop open the cover on your door crank(window crank) and take out the T20 screw holding it in if you have power locks then just pop the whole panel out and unplug your controls. The door slides upward to take it off. You will also need a 6mm socket to remove your factory 6x8s.
