Lightbulb Speaker Setup (system)

I just got a new truck and i am not familiar with speackers. In a 2001 f-150 extended cab what size are the speakers in the front door panels? What size are the speakers in the rears doors? Do the extended cab f-150s have room under the seat to put subwoofers? If i get a box do i need anything else to make it fit? any advice is needed, thanks

All the speakers are 5x7's. Yes you can fit subs under the back seat. You can get a prefab box that usually comes with a lift for the back seat, or make your own box. If you make your own you will have to find a way to lift the back seat most likely. Unless your getting some small subs with small backspacing.

Speeddemon,

I have a JL Audio Stealthbox for sale that would fit perfectly under your rear seat. I purchased it new 1 year ago, for my 2000 F-150 Ext. cab. Got a new truck last month, so it won't fit in the new truck.

I'm pretty sure it'll fit in your truck. Fits under the passenger side seat. It is an all fiberglass sealed box with 1-10" JL Sub. Brand new, they are around $550.

I never played it hard. So it's still like new.

Trust me, the Stealthboxes are extremely nice

If interested, let me know and I'll make you one hell of a deal. It's just sitting in my garage.
