Lets see where to begin.

I have a 97 Lariat x-cab with some pioneers up front that were already there when I got it.

I want to upgrade the sound system but in no way something competition quality, I just want to have someting nice in there for my personal enjoyment I dont need any1 being able to hear me coming from a mile away.

I was looking at purchasing this.

2 Infinity kappa reference 6800, they would only be around $10.00 more than the infinity 572.5, Ive never heard the 6800 but I have heard the 572.5's and they sounded awesome.
Around $100.00 for these

I know I said I dont want to compete or anything like that but I do want some excellent speakers.

I would probably move the Pioneers (whatever model they are) to the rear at some point since they are better than the stock ones.

for a sub I was thinking the Pioneer TS-SW124D 12" I am capable of making my own enclosure to my personal specs.

I know theres an amp forum so if the mods want to move this post there its fine with me.

The amp is my biggest concern, would it be so bad to just feed the kappas with 60 watts RMS for each, I know they can take 90 and 100 for the other model but still take into consideration my personal needs, or lack there of.

I guess with those Amps I would be underpowering the Sub by quite a bit but maybe there are some combinations I can use like just running the rear speakers from my stock HU or something, I'm really new to this I just know some basics.

All of the above Amps would be around $300.00 I'm def not paying MSRP.

Remember, not trying to impress people here.
