Well I finally got around to installing the Focal 165K 6.5" components this weekend. I picked up some Dynamat Extreme for the doors thinking that it would greatly increase the mid's. The install was fairly straightforward and the Dynamat didn't give me any problems(The only problem is that with the way we install our doors you cannot completely seal the door).

I was replacing the current 6X8" Infinity Kappa 572.5cf with the Focals. The Infinity's sounded great, but the Focal's are night an day different. I installed one side and listened to the difference before completing the other. The midbass output of the Focal's is almost worthy of a small sub, and the highs are crystal clear. I'm sure the Dynamat helped out, but what a difference the components made. I'll shoot some pics of the install this evening.

Now I have to decide what to do in the rear, I currently have another set of the Infinity's installed in the rear.
