2004 f-150 SCAB. Just bought a sealed box for a pair of 10" subs. I'm modifying the box to get a little more cu/ft out of it. I'm still only getting .85 cu/ft total. Should I add partition to isolate subs or keep as one?
If it was me I would make a separate chamber for each sub. Thats how I always make my boxes. There are alot out there with just one chamber for 2 or more subs, but Ive heard of them canceling each other sometimes when ththe box is like that. But, you sould be ok with just one chamber, so either way man.
Good luck

The only way they "should" cancle each other would be if one of the subs was wired inverse of the other, or backwards. Or if one was mounted backwards?

I could understand cancellation if running in stereo mode and drums being are split into separate channels. Some bands will tie one base drum to left and other to right. Rush and Metallica come to mind in particular songs. I separated the internal volume just to be safe.
Thanks.
Thanks.
