2 or 3 subwoofers?
I have a 2000 Single Cab F-150 and I was thinking of putting some Fosgates behind the seats. My question is should I install 2 or 3 subs? I'm afraid if I put 3 in then the one in the middle will be too loud since it won't have a seat in front of it. Can anyone help me out? Thanks in advance.
hmmm....Judging by your wanting 3 subs, I assume you want it loud? That center sub would seem louder than the other two, but since they will be in a standard cab space I don't think it would be that noticeable to the human ear. If you are still worried about it, you could try having the two outside speakers on the front of your box facing your seat rears and your middle speaker on the back side of the box facing the rear cab wall? Good luck with your install!

I doubt you will notice any increased volume from the center sub. As long as all 3 are getting the same power it won't be a problem. planning something similar myself. 3 dvc subs with a 1 ohm stable amp.
should give me about 800 watts into the subs

i guessing you dont have the bench seat, i have the bucket w/the center console that folds down, and if you have that kind of seat there is no way you can get one in the middle unless you never use the console. i have two 10's and that is enough for me.
