box fitting

I have a 2003 F150 xlt 2wd supercab flareside and i hope on getting 2 10' subs and a amp in my truck. I want to have the 2 serperate sub boxes on the opposite sides in my back seat. For me to do this I would but the subs straight up in the air so the box is smaller so its easier to fit. Acceot i looked at the room between the back seat and the floor and there was like 5 inches maybe. I really dont think i could get a box that small could I? Or does anyone else have any other suggestions?
