Post Another SuperCrew question

Has anyone tried putting a single 12" in a screw? Just trying to explore options for myself. If I can't have my two tens, what is stopping someone from figureing out a way to get a single 12" under there?

Hello adamski,

I am working on a box for a pair of 10s. I have 2 RF 10's that I am making a box for that will go under the bench seat in the back. Did you try installing 2 10s? I believe it can be done. I'll let you know how it turns out. The only problem with having a single 12 would be the backspace needed. What kind of 12 would you be installing?

Fordboy-

I would definately be interested in a dual 10" box. I have two Kicker Comp 10's now that I would love to be able to use. If I were to go with a 12", Infinity makes a very thin woofer. It's relatively new to the market, but it is supposed to only use about 4" in mounting depth, and it is supposed to perform like the Kappa 12.
If you can get two tens in your truck, I would be interested in having the measurements and so on to be able to build my own. I just have to be able to fold the seats down relatively easy. I had also looked at the Infinity Basslink. It is a single 10" self powered in a small enclosure. I wish there was more info about it, b/c it looks like two would fit easily, and the connections look simple.
Thanks

Cool

Gentlemen:
I'm an old man but do like my Dolby Digital surround sound (at home) and some good bass in my SCrew. You might want to check this out... it's only an eight ... but it's up front, next to you ... VERY nice ....

Check out this thread for more info ....

Fedex--

I agree, I have seen your posts and I really like the setup you have with the console. I would li=ove to do that myself, but it is not feasable for me. I work out of the truck half the time, and I have a DeLorme GPS tracking system that has to be connected to the computer, and the computer sits on a Jotto Desk that is mounted to the floor just in front of the console. Thanks for the idea! As I said before, your setup looks great!!

A friend of mine is running 12s in his Supercrew. I am pretty sure he has 2, not sure if they are in one box or seperate.
I would also be interested in the specs on your box for 10s. DECHMAN has a nice box for a 10W6 but hasn't been willing to share his specs yet :0(.

Cool

How about pics of the boxes, installed or not. I want to see how they blend with the interior and if I can do what I want to.
Thanks...
