I resently purchased a 99 Expedition Eddie Bauer Edition. It came with the MACH audio system. I'm fairly pleased with the sound, but would appreciate a little more thump. I was really interested in the MTX thunderform tha fits in the rear cargo area. The stock system already has a similar amplified setup, but the sub just looks like maybe an 8inch (not for sure yet) compared to the MTX 10 inch. If I purchased the MTX, I would prefer the amplified version($449). Has any Expedition owners ever purchased one of these?? Anyone with the Mach audio system,did you notice much difference over the stock sub?? I had also considered simply simply installing an aftermarket sub in the stock location..Any suggestions on which brand to use?? I'm not sure what size amp is pushing the stock sub. The amp is also mounted in the rear cargo area. Thanks for all responses...
