MTX Thunderform Sub box stuffing
I have heard that stuffing you subboxes with Poly-Fill Stuffing will help to slow down sound wave and make your subs hit harder. Is this true? Should i stuff my the inside of my door panels too?
thanks for you help,

Stuffing a sub box with ploy-fill is a way to get more air-space for your sub when your box is a bit small. On an average, figure the ploy-fill adds about 10% to the air-space your box currently has. This is helpful when you have tight fits- you can't build the box any bigger but you need a bit more air-space. When you "stuff" the box, you DO NOT "pack down" the poly-fill. You basically just toss-it in and DO NOT fill the box completely- only fill it about 2/3 to 3/4 the way full.
As far as it making your sub(s) hit harder, I've been messing w/systems for about 6 years(did custom work & installation for about 2 years) and I have never heard of it having that effect.
