Okay ,I want subs in my 99 f-150 ext. cab ,but I don't want to spend my money on a custom box that will only hold 8" subs. Iwas wondering is there any other way I can get subs in my truck? I was wondering of purcashing a single 10" sub in a ported box and putting it on my raer bench. Is that a good idea?

Are you thinking that you'll spend a lot of money on a custom box?
I just bought a custom built box for extended cab F150s from SoundHigh and it holds a pair of 10" subs that fit snug under the seat. The box fits and looks good! It doesn't get in the way of the passenger's feet. I like the way mine sounds. And I have a pair of RFosgate's. I'm sure that if you go with a pair of JL's, you'll get more bass. I've been a customer for a few years now. The place is by my house and I never knew they shipped out purchases. I just found out today.
