What sub can be used in place of the stock audiophile one? And do you need to change the amp?

 

I was interested in that too. I'm planing right now to stick a kicker kx600 I have from my old system on it just for fun and see what happen's

The stock 2ohm dvc sub is a real shallow mount.The mounting pattern is also odd.I did install a w08 with a 3/4 spacer-adapter.

The factory amp is too weak to drive any name brand sub.Would not even drive a cheap 8"audiobahn 4ohm dvc sub I had.

 

I hear that... I just ordered a pioneer 7600 hu and put infinity kappa's in the rear... I have a probox that I am still looking for a sub to fit in??? I have a jl e1400d amp and would like a jl 10w3 but they are hard to find.. That is about the only sub I would like to use but does anyone have another suggestion??
