Boston components

Anyone have any feeling on Boston Acoustics speakers? I am looking at the FS60 (6.5 comp), and the FX8 (5x7 coax).

Thanks

I had the pleasure of listening to the NX87 and the FX8 bostons. Both are awesome. Boston makes a great speaker.
You won't be sorry that you bought them, IMO.

I'd go for the FS60 up front and if you want rear fill go with the FX8

I've always love BA's sound. I've strayed from them a couple times, only to return. They sound the most natural to me and are not to brite for my ears. If your ears like them, get them. Solid quality speakers & crossovers...

I would agree with those assessments of Boston Acoustics. They have long had a reputation of high build quality and if you like their "sound", you can't go wrong. Keep in mind, like other brands, they have different lines of speakers representing different levels of performance and sound quality capability.

I haven't hear BA's in a few years but I was always impressed by them in the past. I love their silk domes and smooth high end response but I tend to be a little sesitive to the higher frequencies anyway and shy away from the brighter sounding tweets.
