REM output

I was working on my friends truck installing his sub but I couldnt figure out where to put the rem wire in the back of his h/u. Is there a special output for it or does it get attached somewhere else. BTW he has the clarion db245 h/u.

According to the manual on Clarion's site the Blue/White is the power antenna turn-on lead. This should suffice for an amp turn- on as well.

You don't NEED to use the Remote wire, if there's no amp, cap it off. If you are using an amp, don't use the "Power antenna wire", it will only activate your amp IF you listen to the radio.

Thanks for the fast replies, But one more thing. I think that I need to use the rem because when I power everything up the sub isn't working. I double checked all my other wires, it's getting power and everything, so I figured i would have to attach the rem so the amp would know when to turn on.
