2002 Supercrew Speakers

Does anyone know the size of the speakers in the doors? The dealer tells me 6" but everything I see here is 6x8. If it is 6x8 is the area big enough for a 6x9? Thanks

The dealer is wrong, but are you suprised?

You'll have to do some trimming to get 6x9's to fit

Thanks, actually the doubt level was quite high ! I was under the impression that I was intruding on his coffee break requesting information.
