2001 Screw NEEDS BASS!!!
2001 Screw NEEDS BASS!!!
I got a 01 Screw, and I am tired of not being able to fully enjoy my music.
So the ? is who out there has installed subs in a 01 Screw?
Who has done a seat lift kit for a Screw?
Which box would have the most "thump" a single sub ported box, or a dual sub down firing box?
What type of set up will offer the most performance for a Screw truck.
I know there are boxes out there for the Screw. However I am wanting to raise the seat for more air space and being able to get bigger subs instsalled. So I will need a custom made box
Who does custom made boxes?
Thanks for ya'lls imput

I have a 02 SCREW with 2 10" rockford fosgate punch stage 2's. I put the subs behind the seat because I wanted to build an amp rack under the rear seat. And 2 10's are perfect for the aray of music I listen too. I got my box from www.subbox.net - you can also goto www.supercrewsound.com both have custom made boxes for SCREW's. It sound like you want lots of boom! so far the biggest I've seen is 2 12's under the rear seat, which requires the seat lift kit. But you are restricted to how big of sub you can use because of the shollow depth of the boxes. The have 3/4" spacers at www.subbox.net to give you some xtra clearance for the magnets. If your thinking 15's then your definately going to have to call around and find a stereo shop that can build a custom box for you. Most of the under-the-seat boxes are sealed. A sealed box will give you tighter bass, a ported box will give you that long-drawn-out boooom! But a ported box needs to have more cubic ft to work. Sealed boxes are smaller, sometimes 1/2 the volume. Just look at the sub chart for volume of sealed & ported boxes. just make sure you match sub's to box volume to get the best sound possible. Hope i helped, good luck.
