New To Truck Scene

Hey guys i just got a new 04 F150, before i had a Honda Civic and i have a 12' sub installed in the Civic. I know a car audio guys whos gonna swap it in for me and i was wondering where the hell im gonna put that sub, like what box should i get ive seen a couple like custom ones and such but i just want some more experienced advice from u guys.

Is it a regular or super cab? If its regular its gotta go behind the seat if it will fit-or if it wont fit there probably something like a custom councel to go between bucket seats. If its a supercab-there are boxes made to go under the seat-but if the sub is to deep to fit under there with a lift-you might have to go 'refrigerator' ,as someone said, style like mine.

You will have to go either under the seat with a smaller sub or take up seat and foot room as mentioned above. Good luck.

hey how big is ur sub in the above post? mines a 12' cuz mine has the amp attatched to the back but its not that big.

Its a 12". The box has a volume of about 1.25 CuFt. if I remember right. About 15 inches wide and deep-cant remember how tall it it though-areound 10-12 inches or so.

k thanx man i appreciate the info, the f-150 is being delivered to the dealer so i wont have it till monday but when i do ill start checking what i need to be doing and such. thanx for the replies
