I'd suggest looking for a Class D amp with as much power as the subs will take. If you got 2 subs and they say 500 RMS, i'd look into 1000 watts RMS. Class D's are mono so there is only one channel and they are made specificly for running subs. Your options for wirring those will be 1 ohm or 4 ohm so keep that in mind when looking for an amp. I like hifonics for low end and JL on the higher end.

Now you missing the other half of this from your list above. What about comps's and another amp for them. That will be key unless you really like everything a little bassy.

Make sure to get the right size box for what you plan doing with them. You can find most info on the manufacturers respective websites.

I've always liked JBL and US Acoustics for a bang on the buck. JL and Phoenix Gold for a bit higher end.

Take a look at adiobahn. There stuff is priced nice and really sounds great as well as looks great. I agree with Sticker about a mono amp with a lot of power and then a nice 2 channel amp for mids and highs unless you like to use your fader all the time then you would need a four channel amp.

There are 2 channel sub amps out there, this way you can wire each dvc speaker to run nicely @ 2 ohms on it's own channel.

I know I don't hear the brand sony mentioned much but this is the amp that I put in my truck to power my infinity perfect 12.1d":
