Ok i am a little bit confused, being as i dont know a whole lot about this, but would i need one 1 of the Hifonics BX 1000d for each 10w3v2 or just one amp for both subs?

If i end of getting the two 10w3v2's would the Hifonics z6000 work? if so, any good?

Also there might be a possibilty that i could end up going with just one nicer 12 like a 12w6v2 or even a 12w7, so what kind of amp would be good for either of those two subs?

yes one amp for the pair of 4 ohm DVC w3's and actually the same amp would work well with 1 W6 2 ohm DVC. I'd avoid the hifonics altogether if your not going to run it with a 1 ohm load. The ZX is a good amp but they are not class D so they don't have the extra features/stabillity that you want for running subs. Most all amp manufacturers have class A/B and class D amplifiers. Class A/B for your highs and class D for your subs works best. With the W7, I'd go bigger like BX1500 D or BX2200 D. It will handle all you can throw at it.

JL 12W7 specs

Note the 9.5" mounting depth. If you've never seen one your gonna crap.

Don't close your eyes to all the other options out there. The RE XXX will keep up with that sub all day long and is louder. Either way you can't go wrong.

RE The site is flash and of a little pain if your not used to it. Across the bottom you'll see the little arrow. Hover your pointer over it and you will see the nav buttons. The XXX is simillar to the W7.

There is also adire audio Take a look at the Brahma and koda series.

JL

Well, my recommendation depends on how much money you want to spend. If you go W6 or W7s you are gonna blow a wad of money. Hell do you realize how much power you will need to push those things effecively. I like your previous idea. The W3 is a perfect all round sub (power needs/sound quality/SPL). If you can fit 2 in thats great . . . I'd recommend the JL Slash amps. YOu could get the 500/1 in a single box (no divider), or get 2 250/1s in seperate boxes.

My System:
single JL 10w3v2 (single sealed supercrewsound box)
JL 500/5
MB Quart PCE216 comps
MB Quart DKE 168 coax rears
Stinger wiring and 1 farad cap
Alpine 9833 head
Dynamat Xtreme
