Diamond audio comps(and subs).

What does everyone think about Diamond audio? There is a audio shop that I usually visit everytime I go to that particular town and they are a Diamond dealer. So I was thinking of looking into their component speaks. I havent listined to them yet, nor do I know anything about their quality. I have heard they are pretty good, but I was wondering what you guys tought of them. What about there subs also? Everytime I go in there he tries so sell me a new sub (Diamond) and he always goes down alittle on price(cant remember what he said for a price last) Is there a certian model I should look for (sub and comps)?

Would It be worth getting rid of my Eclipse for one of those Diamonds? I think I know someone who would buy it from me too.

Thanks

I have never heard their subs, but my buddy has some mids and highs.
They sound pretty good, but I think they are a little over-rated. My Memphis studio componants pushed by a good clean system sound just as good if not better IMO.

Diamond makes good speaker sets. Their top of the line is one of the better speakers although their quality dropped after the 98 year model when they moved production away from germany and into asia.

Their middle line subwoofer is a fair deal but the top and bottom line subs are't worth the cash; good none the less.

If diamond isn't your only high end choice...then seek out Morel, Dynaudio, CDT, DLS, Focal, Rainbow, Phoenix Gold (ti elite)....
