need speakers to replace factory one on lightning

anyone have some new or not used up speakers to replace the stock one s in the lightning?

I'm adding a pioneer CD player (50x4) and want to change the stock speakers but don't want to send a fortune.

OR point me to a wholesale place where I can pick them up cheap.

What type and model number should I get?

Do you plan on getting an amp for them in the future?

If not and you are trying not to spend a lot of money, I would go with the new Pioneer3 or 4-ways. Walmart usually has them for pretty cheap, or find them online. Should be around $50/pair and would sound pretty good.

too bad u dont live hawaii. a local store is selling everything at mad prices. the owner was gonna hook me up with MB QuartP612 and a kicker 300.4 amp for about 500 dollars. hes pretty much giving out JL TR series speakers, i think the 5x7s are like 30 bucks. he was also giving away a 10w6v2 or 12w6v2 to anyone who bought a 1200.1 amp for 60 bucks. i swear i think he was on something today. he 'ended' this little selling spree on the amp/sub combo tho.
wats the point of the story? look for stores that are renovating, most companies sell their products with damaged boxes for dirt cheap because people wont buy it. jus look in the contents tho, scratch and dent products are wayy worth it.

i recommend JL TR co-ax for 'decent' speakers.
also, alpine type R components are good too

if ur willing to spend the money, i'd say a/d/s components are well worth it
