JL 12w3v2 vs kicker 10 SB L5

I'm selling my L5's to a friend and I want to go with some JL's. I've had 12W0's in the past and I liked the sound.
What differences can I expect to hear in switching from the 10 inch kickers to the 12 inch JL's? I'm hoping to get a lot more impact from the very low freq, truck shaking bass notes. Songs like Luv Me (track 4 on the 8 mile soundtrack).
I plan on pushing the JL's with a 500/1 so they will have all the power they need.
Opinions please!

If they are put into the correct enclosure the 12" JL's will outperform the 10" solos. They will also play the lower notes louder than the 10"s and give you even more "shake" simply because there is more mass in motion and more air being moved.

The kicker l7's are capable of producing some low, windshield wiper shaking bass. All you need is a ballsy amp to push 'em.

I probably would have kept the L5's. I dont think the W0's will perform much, if any, better then the L5's. Now the W3's and up, thats a different story.
