Opinions, Suggestions, Comments...

Okay, so heres the deal. Up until this week I had been driving a 97 Ranger Ext. Cab. I had the entire back cab filled with my subs and box. I ran a JBL 1200.1 and 2 Audiobahn 12" Q's. Well I traded it off and got me a 2001 F150 Single Cab Sport. I Have replaced the door speakers and I'm getting ready to put my radio in. But is there anyway I'm going to get all that bass back? I'm having withdrawls! I have looked at the probox but it's 10.5" thick... that doesn't give too much leg room I imagine. I have found Ranger single cab boxes that are 7.5" thick and am considering that... but what are your guys thoughts?

Thank You for your time.

Was your last box ported? If so you might want to make the new box yourself so you can get the most out of the leg room/ air space issue. Which Q's do you have? In case you don't know, audiobahninc.com has lots of info on box specs under Tech support.

I'm thinking that if you have to go with the ranger box, you might want to just run one of your subs. 1 sub in the right box will work better than 2 in the wrong box. You need to research the required airspace, the room you have to work with and go from there. Are you gonna get all the bass back??? It's hard to say but is possible with the right installation.

Mmmmm... 1200.1 How did that setup sound in your ranger? What amp/speakers you running up front?

If you don't have enough room. Look into the RE8s. Very good subs that don't need alot of room. You can get 2 of them for under $100 shipped. Here are some reviews to help you out.
Good Luck.
