Center counsol box

Has anyone built a custom center counsol box for the front of a 2003 f 150 supercab? I'm looking for alternatives to putting a box under the seat. I'm in the process of flush mounting my amps into the back half doors behind plexiglass and would really ike to keek the sub(s) hidden...hate to lose that extra space as well. since i never use that space in the bottom of the counsol i thought i would stick it there. Iknow JL makes a box but i don't have an extra arm and leg to sell for it...lol Thanks guys in advance.

Kevin

Not sure if your console is the same as mine, but I built one for an 8" sub in my 2001 SCrew. Go to my gallery below to see pics and a drawing of the dimensions. Sound is great!! I had my doubts about an 8" sub, but it really puts out some good bass.

I have a box I made for 10" Solobaric. I have the 40/60 bench, and it sits in front of it. Works great, but takes up the foot area for a middle seat passenger. I never use that area anyways. I'll see if I can get some pics for you.

I have a very basic wood constructed box vented aperiodic style through the floorboard up front. You can see the pics in my gallery just click the link below. If you did not want to cut the floorboard you could just put a 10" in a sealed box there with polyfill in it and still get good performance.
