Please enlighten me!

Call me dumb or call me ignorant, but how do you get the door panels off. 2000 screw 4x4. This is my first Ford so I dont want to just go ripping things off if there is a certain way to do it. Ive taken a little off the dash and it seems there are a lot of snap on parts to the truck. Am I right?

Thanks for the help!

Start pulling. You'll have to remove the trim that's above your shoulder to get to one of the screws in the panel, pull from the window side. and you'll have to pop off the cover where the door handle is also. there's a notch in the front for a screwdriver. I have more detailed instructions at home I can email to you if you'd like I just put components in the front and rear of my 00' super cab, and I have the sheets from Crutchfield.

Pull the top piece off...just pull straight off. Then pull the piece off that goes around the door handle in the inside and pull it straight off. After you do that you will see two screws un screw them then lift up on the whole door pannel.

GO HERE!!!

I wouldn't have made it without this help. I didn't just want to go yanking things apart either. And yes, you can just about take the whole truck apart with a t-55 star bit and a strong pair of hands to snap things aloose.
