2 12's under rear seat?

Has anyone tried to install 2 12" subs under the rear seat of an 02 or 03 screw? I have done it, but I'm not happy with the design of my box. I would like to see some pics of other boxes other than the ones on the website ads. Looking for a nice custom job that fits nice.

a word of caution....

ALot of companies are starting to sell 12" subwoofer boxes for under the seat of F150's. I have a word of caution for you....

Look at the subwoofer recommended airspace requirements. Most 12" subs sound really good with around 1.0 cuft of airspace. The only way to get that much airspace is to really jack the seat up high to accomodate a huge box.

Instead, I recommend using high-end 10" subwoofers in a box under the seat. It is pretty easy to get about .5 cuft on a box under the seat, and that is just about perfect for 10" subwoofers.

Otherwise, you may have big subs making a small sound!

Rockford

True, ROCKFORD has a lots of 12" woffers, you can find models now with the 2004 lineup that work well in .75cu ft space.

ROCKFORD's POUND.

Do be sure to check the airspace, it is critical to correct sound.

sure thing...

I like the "Z" series, because they are very affordable, and do well in airspace even smaller than the recommend. The HE series need .9 cuft, so you need to add polyfill to make up the difference. The punch stage three require .85 and do well without any polyfill needed. The standard HX2 Fosgate subs only require .8 so thay are fine too.
