which sub

Do yall think I should put 2 10 inch jl audio 10w3v2 subs in the back of my 04 f150 extended cab that handle 300 watts per sub or 2 10 inch hx2 rockford fosgate subs that i think handle 500 watts. What in your alls opinion is the better sounding/ harder hitting sub. If yall have any other suggestions as to great sounding subs with a mounting depth under 5.5 or at least close to that please inform me.

thanks

My personal favorite is the JL. My 15 has run at 200% of it's rated power (150 RMS) for 10 years. I'm not too familiar with the fosgates other than opinions I've heard of them range all over the board.

There are many other great subs around, but for me it'll be JL in the future.

Rocford fosgate is coming out with new subs in a few weeks. The debuted at ces. That is what I am planning on getting for my truck. I am planning on 3 of the new rf subs and a bd500 amp. Should be a little better than my 1 memphis ten and audiobahn 300 watt amp. Check there website if you wanna see them. www.rockfordfosgate.com
