Stereo or bridged?

Hey 97,
I have gotten good at fielding these type questions with missing information. Check it out.
dasmaz,
Connect the subs in either stereo or bridged mode by first finding the lowest impedance your amp can handle in both mono and stereo mode (2 ohm in many cases). Once you determine your amps stable impedance in both mono and stereo find out the impedance of your subs. Keep in mind that if you wire a pair of voice coils in parallel then the impedance will be half (ie 4ohm + 4ohm=2ohm). If you wire the same in series then the load will add the two together making an 8ohm load. With all this said you will want to connect your subs in such a way as to get all available power without dropping the impedance lower than what is stable for your amp.
